Rejected petition Introduce tougher new laws and sentences to reduce cruelty to animals in the UK.
On 23rd January 'Elmo' the dog was found abandoned in a cemetery on The Wirral with practically every bone in his body broken. The RSPCA said he'd suffered “an absolute catalogue of abuse” and had to end his life due to the “unimaginable pain” he was in. New laws may stop this from happening again.
