Petition Classify the laser pointer as an 'offensive weapon'

Following laser attacks on hundreds of civil aircraft, including Virgin Atlantic flight VS025 which was forced to return to Heathrow Airport, we call upon the government to classify the laser pointer as an offensive weapon. The mis-use of these devices put hundreds of lives at risk on a daily basis.
