Closed Bring back the birch as public humiliation/punishment

In order to restore some sense of justice and order in the country I would like to see some physical punishment introduced as a deterrent for crimes such as: burglary, rape, theft, vandalism, assault, fraud, civil disobedience, looting.

This should be an option available to magistrates/courts/judges and determined in lashings as seen fit at the the time. from 3-20/30 etc depending on severity of the crime.

People need to learn that crime SHOULDN'T PAY and certainly SHOULDN"T go unpunished
