Rejected petition Make gazumping illegal in England and Wales.

It is currently legal for property buyers to purchase a property, sell their own home, pay for searches, solicitor's fees, packing, only to be informed later that the vendor has accepted a higher offer from someone else. This is unfair, stressful, time consuming and very costly for the purchaser.
