Rejected petition Mental health issues made compulsory to be taught in schools across the uk.

Rejected on

I found it hard to tell anyone about my mental health issue because I knew this sensitive subject had not been taught in schools. This had led me to feeling more alone and depressed. This is a vicious cycle that will continue unless we demand it to be compulsory in the national cariculom.

"1 in 10 children and young people aged 5 - 16 suffer from a diagnosable mental health disorder" Would this number change if we made it compulsory to the national cariculom to teach about these Mental health issue?
