Rejected petition Remove all artificial colours (E numbers) from children's medicines.
Many medicines for children and babies contain dangerous E numbers. Infant Calpol has E122; a colour which has been found to cause health issues, behavioural problems and hyperactivity in children. The FSA advises against giving such colourings to children. Natural colours should be used instead.

This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
If you would like the use of E numbers in children's medicines to be banne din the UK, we could accept a petition calling for that.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
