Government should give serious consideration to building two new bridges or tunnels over or under the Thames between Tower Bridge and Dartford Bridge for motor vehicles.

There are 14 crossings West of Tower Bridge and only the Rotherhithe Tunnel, Blackwell Tunel and the Woolwich Ferry.
