Closed petition I wish the Home Office to review the case of a Fijian soldier Semesa Maiyale.
Closed on
Semesa Maiyale known as Sam joined the British army in 2003 and served both with the Kings Own Scottish Borders and then the Royal Regiment of Scotand serving nine years and completed tours of Iraq and was promised the right to remain in the Uk after his service ended.
Sam was discharged in 2012, Sam has no right to work, cannot claim benefits or housing and is supported by his partner who as a nusery nurse is heavily in debt due to the pressure of providing for the both of them. Sam and his partner now live in homeless accommadation and sam rightly feels betrayed and let down.
