Rejected petition Bring back the dog licence - before a dog is bought a lience must been shown.
Too many dogs in the UK is getting abused and neglected by their owners. A dog licence should be brought back as this should reduce the risk of animals being neglected, abused and used for fighting. No animal deserves a life like this, animals are no different to humans, they have rights too.

Thousands of dogs are abused and negelected in their own home each year and some of this happens behind closed doors. Inresponsible people has a dogs life in their own hands think they can do anything to animals. I scroll down Facebook and see dogs that have been hit and tied up and it breaks my heart! Dogs or any other animal should have to face abuse on their own. Humans don't so why should they. They have rights too! A dogs life is just worth as much as a humans.
