Rejected petition Mutual freedom of movement for citizens of UK, Canada, Australia & NZ.
Commonwealth realms of Canada, Australia & NZ are all highly developed economies sharing the same language and cultural values as the UK. A freedom of movement initiative between these four countries would bring enormous mutual economic, political & sociological opportunities for their citizens.

This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The UK Government can press the other Governments in agreeing to freedom of movement but it does not have the power to create freedom of movement on its own. You could start a petition calling on the Government to press other Commonwealth countries to accept a freedom of movement agreement, and to offer free movement to citizens from certain countries.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
