Rejected petition Build closed off cycle lanes on all major roads!
To many cycling lives are being lost on roads. We need to build more closed off cycling lanes to protect cyclist from being hit by moving vehicles and careless drivers. I would be happy to pay a tax of some sort to use these safe cycle lanes. 1 life lost is 1 to many in my opinion!

The Government and Parliament are not responsible for local roads. If your petition is about cycle lanes on local roads, then you could start a petition calling for local councils to be required to create cycle paths on roads in their area.
The Government is responsible for motorways and major A roads. If you would like cycle lanes to be provided on these roads, then you could start a petition about that.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
