Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Curfews for children are the responsibility of parents and not the UK Government and Parliament as a whole.
If you would like Parliament to change the law, to make it illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to be outdoors after 9 pm, you could start a petition calling for that.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
