Recently, MPs voted in cuts that have been defeated multiple times by the House of Lords to slash ESA and other benefits.

Remove ALL benefits from MPs such as their Bars (who else gets to drink alcohol at work?), subsidised meals (wouldn't we all love a free meal every day?), and their unlimited expense accounts.
No MP needs a second or third home. They can commute, in standard class, like every other commuter has to. Train season tickets are set at their allowance so make them pay out of their own pocket. After all. Don't they choose to live away from work?

The Government and Parliament don’t have the power to set MPs’ expenses. That power was given by Parliament to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) in 2010, so that after 2012 MPs no longer had control over their own expenses.
