Rejected petition Save 'Boaty McBoatface'. Highest vote wins - fair competition & democracy

The suggestion of 'Boaty McBoatface' has attracted more than 27,000 votes already (and rising quickly) in an online poll of names for the Royal Research ship but now because experts don' agree, they may change the rules and ignore the clear competition winner and call the boat something else.
