Rejected petition To re-open Reading prison and convert it into a shelter for homeless veterans.
Reading Prison was closed down in November 2013. However between 2013 and 2015 nearly £275,000 was spend on utility bills for the prison. The UK has roughly 9000 homeless veterans with over 1,100 in London. The prison is large & can be easily converted, and provide help for our veterans. please sign
