Petition Make Burning The UK Flag a Criminal Offence

There is a rising problem of protesters in this country thinking that is except able to burn and damage the UK flag in public view.

This should be made a criminal offence as it can cause great distress and can even motivate people to take violent action against said protesters.

We should respect OUR flag not burn, rip and trample on it just to make a political point.

That flag represents us all, as a leading country in this world and as one of the most multi-cultural nations. Whether they like it or not it is the flag of our country and we should not be disrespecting it.

When they burn and damage that flag they are hurting not only our ancestors but they hurt each and every one of us with every knife that rips it and every flame that licks it.
