Petition Compulsory prison terms for all drivers speeding to evade a police pursuit

I am horrified by the number of drivers that speed recklessly, particularly through residential areas, threatening the lives of pedestrians and other road users, in order to evade pursuing police. When eventually caught, they rarely receive a custodial sentence, despite posing such a danger to life.
