Rejected petition Save Our Police Officers

We do not want the number of police officers to be reduced otherwise crime rates will shoot through the roof, people will no longer feel safe, and the chances of criminals re-offending will be high. I believe that we need all the police officers so that their presence will make our cities/towns a lot safer. also where would we be able to report a crime if there are no officers available to respond?
