Rejected petition Ban energy drink sales to under 18 year old.
My 14 year old son, often comes home with Energy drinks which he has openly brought from local shops or Supermarkets, this includes one that states should not be sold to children. Despite my objections on the drinks this does not put him off as "if the shops sell it to us what is the problem"?.
More details
Caffeine and sugar is the problem, let alone the facts I read of the effect of these drinks on kids. I really do not think that these should be sold to children under the age of 18, these should be placed in the illegal bracket like Alcohol as these can cause just as much damage. I urge that action be taken to prevent the sale of these products to protect our children.
