Rejected petition Allow the new research vessel to be named Boaty McBoatface

Jo Johnson plans to block the new vessel from being called Boaty McBoatface despite this name being chosen by the people of the UK on an internet poll. We live in a democracy, not a dictatorship and us Brits expect the vote to be recognised regardless of how silly it may seem to one person.
