Closed petition Stop MECCG capping Continuing Health Care in a domicile setting to save money.
Closed on
MECCG Cap Continuing Healthcare in a domicile setting 10% over the cost of providing the same care in a nursing-home. Terminally ill people, who want to die at home, may be forced into nursing-homes against their will or placed in a position where lack of care puts them at risk of neglect.
The decision was made on the preferences of 15 people responding to a Survey Monkey form.
This is against the National Framework for NHS Continuing Care; article 8 of the Human Rights Act and Section 1C of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
