Rejected petition Ministers should have extensive experience working in the sector they manage.

Those in charge of managing the sectors in the government should be experts in that field and have extensive relevant experience. This should be the top job in that industry. E.g. Heath minister should've worked in the heath sector as a medical practitioner & manager for an extensive period of time.

We should not have MPs managing sectors they have no experience in and have no practical experience working in. Why are we allowing the government to spend millions of pound on advisers and boards to help ministers make vital decisions on industries they know nothing about?
