Rejected petition Change the law so people accused of a crime can use a Lie Detector Test

A friend is in a terrible situation where I truly believe that he is innocent but this country does not allow a defendant to take a Lie Detector Test to prove their innocence and use as part of their defence in court if they wish to do so.

There have been many genuinely innocent people found guilty by a judge or jury in the past and its time that this is reduced. Now its fair to say that a Lie Detector Test is not 100% accurate but is in fact 95-98% accurate according to much research.

Please sign this petition to help people who are genuinely innocent the chance to live a normal life.
