Make science education at University free, grant bursarys similar to the Medical Education system, allowing currently educated individuals capable of returning to retrain in one of the 4 main sciences namely Physics, Maths, Chemistry or Biology. Create named Science degrees in the Open University for training outside of the education establishment that is also free. Give extra grants to those who already hold a degree in a discipline to return and retrain. (Incentive) Create part time science degree's also free of charge. Have greater injection of funds for individual research grants and monitor that it is delivered to those individuals embarking on scientific research at Phd level.
