Rejected petition Don't kill the name Boaty McBoatface. Keep the name for more public interest.

Basically, there was a competition in which the name of the boat would be chosen by the public. There are reports that the government are going to kill the name off. The name could help generate more public interest among kids and adults. Even interest in what's going on.
