The ''Hague convention'' needs to be changed in order to protect mothers as well as children in domestic violence cross border cases. Women are being forced to return to the country of the child's habitual residence & often the abusive partner/spouse. Better provisions need to be made in order to protect MOTHER'S as well as the children! This law simply doesn't protect women who flee domestic violence.
