Closed Call on the Government to create a new regulatory body for the security industry

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has fundamentally failed to implement the correct training standards for the security industry by omitting vital training objectives necessary for private security to work effectively in the work place.

We want the UK Government to recognise the current dangerous and unfit for purpose standards currently imposed on the industry by the SIA and to create a new statutory regulatory body comprising of experienced security industry professionals dedicated to implementing a proper workable fit for purpose training standard that is transparent, impartial and independent.
