Care Assistants should be recognised as an actual career path and should be paid better than the National Minimum Wage or 2016 renamed (National Living Wage) and be able to progress up the ladder with educational help available.

People who go into the Vulnerable Adult Sector I.e. Care Assistants work 12 hour shifts sometimes do not even get time to have proper breaks because they are so busy get just the basic national minimum wage regardless of the new name and in some cases just don't even have the option to progress up the ladder this should be changed the minimum age should be changed to 21 to work as a Care Assistant and they should also feel valued Minimum Wage 12 Hour shifts does not make you feel valued.
