Rejected petition Tell the EU remain/pro EU advocates to stop referring to the EU as 'Europe'

During the EU referendum there have been countless times when many of the pro EU speakers have referred to the European union as 'Europe' e.g. in sentences and contexts such as ''if we leave Europe' 'we will be better off in Europe' this is grossly misleading as we are Europe no matter the outcome.
