Rejected petition Let us have the right to buy our homes in Scotland

I have been a single mum all my life, bringing up 2 children on my own with no financial help. I have lived in council and housing associations for 25 years and have never been in a position to buy my home until now. I have now found out that the government are abolishing the right to buy, why?
