Macmillan have warned that funds are desperately needed from the government to support growing numbers of people needing end of life care.
An extra 15,000 people could be dying of cancer in 2020 in England, compared to in 2010. Macmillan said if the government does not improve support, 65,000 people dying of cancer will have experienced poor overall care in their last three months of life, over the next five years.
