Petition EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT IN COUNCILS

I was amazed to read in a reply from a Chief Executive of a major council that "we do not record the time spent by our officers on particular projects".

No efficient business would survive without detailed control of key operators at work so my petition is to
persuade Councils to employ thorough cost controlled measurment of officer's time on particular projects so that true value judgements can be made.
