Petition Scrap the DBS system because most immigrants have no past record.

As a graduate in International Politics/Security I think its wrong for the British people to be penalised when looking for a job just because they have a conviction. When compared to the thousands of immigrants that arrive unlawfully in Britain with no prior record of their past.

Please note, the barred list is a separate issue and is most definitely useful for protecting the vulnerable but just because someone has committed for example financial crime this does not mean that they would hurt someone. I believe this country will lose many of its citizens slowly but surely because one by one people will leave this and travel to where they feel more secure.
