Travel costs to get to work is astronomical with train fares costing up to 5- 10k and the hundreds of pounds for petrol and running a car charges rising. Employees that pay a high percentage of their income on travel to work costs should have tax relief or government travel vouchers in order to ease this cost. It is the employed that are keeping the economy moving and this ever increasing cost is futher putting a strain on the working family.
