Petition Make leaving an infant alone in a car unsupervised a criminal offence.

After seeing a 1 year old left alone in a warm car for at least half an hour while the parent went shopping around a retail park (with the child crying and setting off the car alarm) I was informed it isn't illegal to leave a child in the car. I beleive it should be for the child's welfare.
