Petition Award allied military veterans an honour 70 years after their conflict finishes.

France has been awarding the Chevalier in the Ordre de la Légion d’Honneur, equivalent to a British MBE, to veterans 70 years after a conflict finishes. As our veterans are now effectively ambassadors to the younger generations, British and allied veterans should be recognized in similar fashion.
