Petition Have a serious debate regarding Capital Punishment for murder

This is not a knee jerk reaction to the appalling events in Birstall yesterday but more a reaction to the ease with taking a life has become acceptable, Capital Punishment would hopefully make some people think twice before ending a person's life.

The progress with DNA testing must make it unlikely any one innocent of a crime would be punished in erroras, I know happened in the past.
