We petition the government:

* To take those banks who owe their existence to the intervention of the British public (Northern Rock, RBS, LloydsTSB) into full national ownership in order to create one 'brand', The National Bank of the United Kingdom, it alone being responsible for the creation of the nation's money supply.

* To require that The National Bank of the United Kingdom and all other banks operating in the UK hold 100% reserve.

* To limit the Government guarantee of deposits solely to those deposits held in The National Bank of the United Kingdom.
