Closed Investigate financial losses of UK citizens in foreign property transactions

Many UK citizens are reporting that in recent years they have been victim to fraudulent property transactions in foreign countries (Turkey, Bulgaria, Spain). Often losses will amount to many thousands of pounds and leave people facing financial ruin. Please sign this petition to ask the government to carry out a comprehensive investigation into these claims and then work with foreign governments concerned to find ways of protecting British buyers and where a fraud is found to have taken place find ways to help get peoples money back.
