The Home Secretry wants to implement Windors Changes to police officers pentions. She will not nrgotiate with the Staff Side of the Police Negotiation Board, who have put forward proposals which would save more money but not cause hardship to officers.
Pentions are set to increase by 4% by 2015 but officers are currently subjected to a two year pay freeze and are set to lose their increments. This will cause financial hardship.
