George Osborne has announced that if Britain leaves the EU, he will be forced to raise taxes and cut spending to prevent an economic meltdown. Not only is the 'evidence' used to suggest this just based on wild predictions and scaremongering, but it also contradicts the 2015 conservative manifesto.
