Rejected petition Make the vote for next Prime Minister open to everyone, not just Conservatives

David Cameron has resigns so now what?
1) Conservative MPs elect two candidates.
2) A postal ballot will be sent out to all Conservative party members.
The winner of this vote is the next PM. That means that 149,800 Tory activists, 0.002% of the population, will choose the next leader of the UK.
