On recently turning 18, I have noticed the extortionate price of Beer in Pubs. This must change, and is a view shared by the good working, and drinking, people of Britain!

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

The Government can't determine how pubs or breweries price their beer. But the Government is responsible for duties (taxes) on alcohol. You could start a new petition calling on the Government to lower alcohol duties on drinks served in pubs.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
