If Air Passenger Duty is intended to reduce carbon emissions, the cost should be about 0.12 pence per mile. Instead the cost is extortionate and the revenue raised is not used to offset emissions.

We demand that Air Passenger Duty be rescinded and be replaced by a fair Carbon Offset Tax.
