Rejected petition Introduce a bank Holiday to celebrate UK Independence Day

On the 23 June 2016 the people of the United Kingdom made a brave democratic decision to leave the European Union.
In honour of this monumental day we petition the government to mark this historic day with the introducing of a bank holiday to celebrate this decision on the 23 of June every year.
