Rejected petition 16 to 17 year olds should be allowed to vote in a second EU Referendum.
16 to 17 are the generation that will be soon be dealing with the outcome of the EU referendum. By having a second referendum where 16 to 17 year olds are allowed to vote, would mean that they can have their voices heard, as they will be the ones who will be impacted the most by the results.

In the Scottish Referendum, 16 to 17 year olds were given a chance to vote. They showed great engagement in the Referendum and proved that they are capable of voting righteously. Therefore it is only fair that 16 to 17 years olds can vote in another EU Referendum, for it is their future.
