Rejected petition Stop the Gas and Electicity Rip Off

We are being ripped off by the utilities companies.
Every time consumers are hit with an increase in the name of "wholesale price increase" we see a big jump in reported profits from these companies.
This is extremly unfair on consumers and will lead to many families being unable to afford to heat or light their homes.
I want the Government to cap the profit margins made by these companies and bring Gas and Electricity back to affordable levels.
