Rejected petition The Govt agree with EU that citizens get to retain EU citizenship as individuals

Half the UK did not want to loose the benefits of being an EU citizen. The proposal would enable them to retain those important rights that will have a huge impact on their lives. If this were agreed individuals could retain rights to work/live even if there was a payment involved payable to the EU
