The Monarchy should not have to be subsidised by the British taxpayer, as they should be able to fend for themselves like most of their "subjects". This action should eventually lead to a proper British Republic/ Democracy that gives power to the people rather than to an unelected and outdated institution. It is time for the government to recognise that people all over the UK and the Commonwealth don't want the Monarchy any more.
