Rejected petition Make it mandatory to vote in General Elections and Referendums

The result of the recent referendum and also every General Election only reflect the views of a relatively small proportion of the population given the large numbers of people that do not vote. Making it mandatory would make the count truly representative of a majority of the voting population.
